Graham Randles - Managing Director, NEF Consulting
Graham has worked for over 10 years in consultancy and has extensive experience of projects involving social, environmental and economic impact evaluations. Since joining NEF Consulting in 2012, Graham has spearheaded a strategic drive to apply its market-leading methodologies for social impact assessment based on the principles of Social Return on Investment (SROI) to a wide range of applications, from national and international charities to public authorities and corporate reporting.
Graham has led some of NEFC’s most exciting and innovative work with social enterprises. This includes working with three social enterprises delivering health and wellbeing services for the under-fives as part of the Design Council’s Knee High Design Challenge; an SROI evaluation of employment services for YTKO; and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the Near Neighbours programme for the Church Urban Fund (CUF). Graham has also led on social, environmental and economic impact evaluations for British Land, The Crown Estate and Balfour Beatty. Graham is currently directing a project to develop an innovative social enterprise supported employment model for Lambeth Council.
Previously, Graham worked as a programme leader and supply chain specialist for an environmental consultancy; he developed and delivered the Mayor of London’s Green Procurement Code and major projects for CIPS (the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply), Defra and WRAP (the Waste and Resources Action Programme). He has a BSc in Business Administration and an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice, both from the University of Bath.
