Rosie Jolly - Liverpool City Council
A former nurse Rosie joined the Third Sector in 1991 working with Age Concern organisations across East Lancashire in a senior management capacity until 2007. Working at a sub regional, regional and national level within the wider network of Age Concern the Federation Rosie worked on various initiatives to develop and improve services for older people.
In October 2007 Rosie took the position of Director at Comtechsa Ltd a professional architectural organisation supporting the third sector to make best use of their land and buildings. Initially joining Social Enterprise Network in 2008 as a non Executive Director Rosie became the CEO in 2011 of the oldest and most successful social enterprise network organisation in the UK.
Rosie became an elected member of Liverpool City Council in 2010 and currently has special responsibilities as the Mayoral Lead for Social Value. She is a member of the Adult Health and Social Care Select Committee and a member of the national steering group for the Social Value Portal. Rosie has also been a panel member of both the Liverpool One Foundation and Santander Social Enterprise Development Awards for the last 4 years.
