Rohan Martyres, Director Impact & Investment, CAN
Rohan oversees advisory services and social investment funds at CAN. CAN is a leading UK charity trading as a social enterprise, that helps other charities and social enterprises with to help them become more sustainable, deepen their social impact and grow. Through CAN Mezzanine, we provide premises in London for ca.1300 people and ca.150 VCSEs all working for social change. Through CAN Invest, we provide skills and finance to help VCSEs become more effective and sustainable in delivering social impact.
Rohan has worked intensively with numerous VCSEs, and their funders, on developing and delivering programmes and projects for VCSE business readiness, and social impact measurement and management.
Prior to CAN, Rohan has worked with a range of UK and international based charities and non-profits, including coaching charities in strategy and business planning, leading a conflict and human rights NGO in Nepal, and developing programmes for the World Economic Forum in Australia. Rohan is also an accredited SROI Practitioner, and a Trustee of London Funders, the umbrella body for public and third sector funders of London civil society. He holds first-class equivalent degrees in humanities, science and management from Melbourne and Cambridge.
